H&R Wanderlust Continues with the 2009 Leavenworth Drive
LEAVENWORTH, WASHINGTON (June 20, 2009) Last year, our staff here at H&R Special Springs participated in the annual Leavenworth Drive to help ease some of our Wanderlust desires. It was amazing—we found the people, the cars, and the beautiful weather perfectly met our needs. Inspired to seek out a similar experience this year, we came, we saw, and we were not disappointed.
Turnout for the event reached record numbers, yet again. Stationed at the top of Stevens Pass, our crew of H&R Wanderlusters handed out over 250 Tuete gift bags, over 300 H&R Wanderlust t-shirts, and more than 500 bottles of sweet, sweet, H2O. It was insane—the sounds, the cars, the colors, the people, THE EVENT. It was like we were transported to a place where the ‘Tuner Lifestyle’ was mainstream and we didn’t want it to end.
The quality and sheer volume of cars that participated this year demonstrates the Northwest’s dominant talent for specialty tuning and support the area has for tuning lifestyles. To see the diversity of styles, stances, and sounds was inspiring—and there was so much to see, it was hard to know where to look at any given time. Every few minutes a line of specially tuned cars would drive by—each one as exciting and different as the last. From our position, we were right in the mix of cars pulling in, parking, people talking shop, and then continuing on to cruise down into Leavenworth, every exhaust screaming ‘Yeah baby!’
If you passed on the drive this year, believe us, you won’t want to miss out on the next H&R Wanderlust event. Check out upcoming opportunities at http://www.hrsprings.com/wanderlust/ and come roll with the H&R team today.
