H&R has created a stunning new Volkswagen Golf VI tuned in a classic European style. First shown at the 2009 SEMA show, the H&R Eurotuner Golf VI was an immediate media and enthusiast favorite.

From the beginning we wanted the awesome new Golf VI to epitomize the style of an experienced enthusiast. You know the Tuner Lifestyle, a little edgy, but not radical—original, yes, and always well done.  Beanies not optional! Of course, the latest trend is to create a rust bucket, po’ boy style, but we had no intention of applying paint remover to our beautiful, brand new, Candy White TDI.

In case you are wondering, yes, it is a new clean-burning diesel. It is very peppy and has shown us 51 MPG cruising the open highway. The Golf VI has been lowered about 3” with H&R Ultra Low Coil Overs. H&R Ultra Low Coil Overs are super low and provide “a lot of lowering” that requires special technical attention to wheel and tire clearance and wheel alignment.  Irregular roads, tall speed bumps, steep driveways, land walruses, unseen curbs, road reflectors, and parking lot tire stops should be taken into consideration—most importantly, know your vehicle’s specific needs and your driving conditions. The seasoned tuner, however, can handle it all in style! H&R front and rear Sport Sway Bars flatten out the turns—putting a big smile on your face, filling you with confidence, and the good feelings of an awesome ride.

By now you’re probably sizing up the H U G E - OZ wheels. They are the largest wheels we have put on a Golf, period. The OZ Ultraleggera are light weight for their size (20"x8”), and make an awesome style statement. Pirelli PZero Nero tires fit with only minor fender modifications. We raided the Volkswagen Accessory program for a complete body kit to add a subtle cosmetic difference. But, what really pops are the Sticky Jewel Graphics—specifically the German flag stripes which appeal to the VW’s European heritage as they hug, mold, and flow over the sweet lines of the Golf VI.
